Tata Motors To Launch Tata Altroz iCNG Soon Starting At Rs 7 Lakhs — Know Features, Variants

Tata Motors has launched the Altroz iCNG with a starting price of Rs 7.55 lakh while the top-end version comes in at Rs 10.4 lakh.

The Altroz iCNG comes in six variants, XE, XM+, XM+(S), XZ, XZ+(S)and XZ+O(S).

It comes with two tanks of 30l capacity with the twin cylinder technology which does not eat into the boot space.

The twin cylinders are placed below the luggage area and pipes are protected under the load floor.

In CNG mode the Altroz iCNG develops 73bhp and 103Nm with a manual gearbox. The petrol versions makes 10 horsepower more. Tata Motors has added a single pane sunroof which can be opened via a voice command which includes hindi also.

Along with this the Altroz iCNG comes with an air purifier, wireless charging, auto headlamps, climate control and a 8-speaker touchscreen infotainment system by Harman plus rear ac vents, height adjustable drivers seat etc.

Exterior features include projector headlamps, LED DRLs, R16 diamond cut alloy wheels etc. The Altroz iCNG comes with a direct start in CNG mode and that is due to the single ECU. Unlike rivals the Altroz iCNG comes with multiple trim options with more equipment on board.

If we look at colour options then the Tata Altroz iCNG gets you four colour options, namely, Opera Blue, Downtown Red, Arcade Grey and Avenue White. The Tata Altroz iCNG will compete with other premium hatchbacks which also come with CNG namely the Baleno and the Glanza. With the Altroz iCNG Tata Motors has increased its CNG portfolio which also includes the Tigor compact sedan and the Tiago hatchback.
