Black-themed special editions have been popular recently especially with SUVs. Nissan has also done something similar with its Magnite and it is called the Kuro edition.

Kuro in Japanese means black. In essence, it gets various blacked out design elements where you will see at the front with a blacked out grille with even the surrounds being in black while the slide plate and the roofrails are also finished in black.

Elsewhere, the headlamps have a black insert while the door handles are also finished in black. There are black alloy wheels ofcourse but it also gets red brake calipers for a contrast effect.

ou will also find Kuro Edition badging on the car. The interior also gets a black theme with black trim everywhere including the roof liner, steering wheel and AC vents.

Being based on the top-end Magnite, the Kuro Edition has features like a 360 degree camera, wireless charging, 8 inch touchscreen and more. Nissan also says that the Kuro Edition has a wider IRVM.

This special edition will be available with all of the powertrains on the Nissan Magnite including the 1.0l petrol and the 1.0l turbo petrol with manual/AMT and CVT gearbox options.

These days black has come back as a popular shade for car buyers with manufacturers launching special editions around them.

Nissan has also given an AMT option with the Magnite 1.0 petrol as earlier only the CVT automatic was the entry variant for those wanting an automatic Magnite. The AMT variant of the Nissan Magnite will be launched soon and its pricing will also be revealed soon
