Mahindra has revealed 5 concept electric SUVs and a new brand for electric SUVs alongside the XUV brand too. The BE brand and the XUV E brand will bring in a raft of new electric SUVs due to come at the end of 2024.

The electric cars would be based on the new INGLO platform which can accommodate various wheelbase sizes and various lengths or body styles while it also has Volkswagen MEB components.
3/7

The new platform will focus on a similar battery pack design with fast charging capability and performance of 0-100 in less than 6 seconds. Offered with options ranging from 60-80 kWh battery capacity, protected for a 175 kW fast-charge and charging up to 80% in less than 30 minutes.
4/7

The electric SUVs would also come with a range of nearly 450km expected with both front/rear drive set-up with single/dual motor on offer. The BE brand will consist of BE.05, BE.07 and BE.09 while the XUV brand will get XUV.e8 and XUV.e9.
5/7

The various body styles use SUV coupe-like styling and also have aero wheels for better range and a streamlined shape. The design language uses the C-shape at the front and at the rear too.
6/7

The interiors are quite futuristic as well with augmented reality, 5G connectivity, ADAS with 5 radars and more along with a massive set of screens wrapped around the driver. There are controls for regenerative braking and also large digital displays all around. The BE models have a sporty two-spoke steering wheel as well.
7/7

The BE subrand of EVs will come in later while the XUV rangr will come in earlier with a more traditional design although being based on the XUV700 but with a coupe-like design and would be based above the XUV700. We expect the XUV.E9 to come first in India being the SUV coupe from end of 2024.
