Bihar Student Protest: Bihar Student Protest Intensifies Over Paper Leak, Jobs

Student protests continue in Patna, Bihar, with RJD leader and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav set to lead a march to Raj Bhavan in support of the protesters. The march will begin from JP Golambar near Gandhi Maidan, with RJD workers, students and young people expected to participate. The protesters are raising concerns over paper leaks, unemployment, alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations, and the alleged use of AK-47s during firing at students. The RJD is demanding accountability from the government and police, including clarity over who ordered the firing. A memorandum is also expected to be submitted to the Governor. Meanwhile, the BJP has criticized Tejashwi Yadav, calling his protest delayed and accusing him of “part-time politics.” The party says the government has already taken steps to address examination-related concerns. Heavy police deployment has been made around Raj Bhavan and other sensitive areas as political tensions rise in Patna.
