New Delhi: Uorfi Javed was in Delhi for a fashion show recently. On Sunday, the actor shared a photo of her meeting Javed Akhtar. Uorfi was all praises for the veteran lyricist and also called him 'a legend'. She also jokingly said, 'finally met her grandfather'.

Taking to her official Instagram stories, Uorfi shared a photo of herself with Javed Akhtar in which she is seen in a blue overcoat while Javed Akhtar is seen in a grey kurta with black shawl. As the two smiled and looked into the camera, Uorfi captioned it, "Finally met my grandfather today. Also he is a legend, right in the morning so many people lined up for selfies, but he did not refuse anyone, chatted with everyone with a smile. He was so warm! I am in awe." She also added the rose, laughing and heart emoji to her caption.

During her recent Delhi Trip, Uorfi had joked about getting 'boils from woolen clothes' and being 'allergic to clothes. She had conducted a poll on Instagram asking her fans if they faced a similar plight in winters. Uorfi shared another video of herself as she talked about her allergy. “So now you guys know why I do not wear clothes. I have this serious condition, my body starts reacting guys! The proof is there, the proof is right there. That is why mai itna nangi rehti hoon (I am often naked). My body is allergic to clothes.” In another clip she posted, Uorfi said, “The allergy is so bad, literally so bad! I just wear woolen clothes and this happens. I am allergic to clothes.”

Uorfi Javed is known for making bold and unusual fashion choices and controversies for her often frank and un-filtered remarks. Recently, Maharashtra Mahila Morcha president Chitra Kishore Wagh filed a police complaint against her claiming that the actor's dressing sense was vulgar and a threat to the society. She had also demanded Uorfi's arrest.
