‘Thalapathy 65’: Actor Vijay Joins Hands With Director Nelson Dilipkumar For His Next

New Delhi: Popular South Indian actor Vijay has recently joined hands with director Nelson Dilipkumar for his upcoming movie which has been tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy 65’. Sun Pictures, earlier today, made an announcement that they will be bankrolling ‘Thalapathy 65’. The film will have music by Anirudh Ravichander. While sharing the teaser, the production house wrote, “We are happy to announce Thalapathy @actorvijay ’s Thalapathy65bySunPictures directed by @nelsondilpkumar and music by @anirudhofficial #Thalapathy65”

Director Nelson Kumar also shared a video on his Instagram and wrote, “#thalapathy65 Happy to announce my next film with #thalapathy vijay sir and @sunpictures @anirudhofficial @jagadishbliss #thalapathy65”

Nelson is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film ‘Doctor’ starring Sivakarthikeyan, Priyanka Arul Mohan. Actor Vijay, on the other hand, will be next seen in the upcoming Tamil action-thriller ‘Master’. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film also stars Actor Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles, with Malavika Mohanan, Arjun Das, Andrea Jeremiah and Shanthanu Bhagyaraj in supporting roles. Vijay started his acting career at the age of 10 in the 1984 film ‘Vetri’. He then went to star as a child artist in different other films like ‘Kudumbam’, ‘Vasantha Raagam’, ‘Sattam Oru Vilayaattu’ and others. He started playing lead roles at the age of 18 and his first film as a lead actor was the 1992 film ‘Naalaiya Theerpu’. Since then, there has been no stopping for the actor as he went on to become a superstar. Till now, Vijay has acted in around 64 films as a lead actor. He is also lovingly referred to as ‘Thalapathy’ by his fans and his next project will be his 65^th film which clearly makes sense for the film to be tentatively titled ‘Thalapathy 65’.
