Actress VJ Chithra Of Pandian Stores Fame Dies By Suicide!

Pandian stores serial Mullai fame actress Chitra committed suicide in Chennai.

In a shocking turn of events, popular Tamil television actress VJ Chithra died by suicide. The 28-year-old was reportedly found dead at a hotel room in Nazarethpettai, Chennai. Chithra, who is known for playing Mullai in the hit Vijay TV serial Pandian Stores, was found hanging with celling fan in her hotel room. A few months ago, she had got engaged to businessman Hemanth. According to reports, Chithra had finished shooting at EVP Film City last night and had returned to her hotel room around 2:30 AM. She was staying at the hotel with her fiancee Hemanth. In his statement to the police, Hemanth has reportedly claimed that Chitra told him she is going for a bath soon after returning to the room. However, apparently, she didn't come out for long and neither responded when he knocked at the door. Hemanth then called the hotel staff and when they opened the door with a duplicate key, she was reportedly found hanging from the ceiling fan with her saree. Nazarethpettai police have filed a case and are investigating the matter, reads a report by India Glitz.
