Yeh Vaada Raha: Entire cast of the show to be changed!
New Delhi: How would you react if all characters of one of the leading daily soaps will be replaced in upcoming days?
Well, that will happen in Zee TV's 'Yeh Vaada Raha'. As the show is heading towards 15-year time leap, the makers have decided to change the entire cast except lead actress Sonal Vengurlekar who portrays the role of Survi and Rinku Karmarkar who is seen as Kamla Taayi.
Leading daily Times Of India quoted a source saying,"While Rinku will continue as Tai, Sonal will play her own daughter. The male lead, Ankush Arora, will make way for a senior actor, who suits the character of a 50-year-old."
Lead actor Ankush Arora who is quitting the show told TOI, " It takes two to tango. We worked together post that incident like thorough professionals. I love my work and everything else doesn't matter. The audience won't find it convincing if they made me play a 50-year-old. Obviously, I can't play Sonal's daughter in the show and hence, I am exiting."
Recently, it had been reported that the lead actors Sonal and Ankush got into an ugly spat while shooting. The duo were filming a scene and rehearsing their lines, when the director said ‘Action’. However, while Ankush was ready , Sonal was still rehearsing.
This had irked Ankush and he bashed co-star Sonal for not following director’s orders. Not only this, the actor also used offensive and abusive language against the actress. This didn’t go down well with Sonal who lost her cool and slapped Ankush. Apparently, the actor also got offended and slapped her back.
If reports are to be believed, the actress even called police to sort out things. But the creatives and production team asked Sonal to not escalate the matter.
