New Delhi: The first episode of Koffee with Karan Season 8 dropped on Thursday, with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone as the first guests. The first episode was a massive success. Karan Johar has dropped a major hint about the next pair of celebrities who will appear together. On Friday afternoon, during Instagram Live, Karan Johar interacted with fans and thanked them for showing so much love to the first episode of Season 8. He also thanked Ranveer and Deepika for being so generous on the episode and sharing their stories.
When many inquired who would be next on the couch, Karan Johar teased that the next episode would feature a pair of siblings who are very near and dear to him in a personal as well as professional space.
Karan Johar also responded to a query posed by an Instagram user regarding the pairing of Sara Ali Khan with Ibrahim Ali Khan by stating that it was not them.
"It's a different combination," he said.
When asked if it is Varun Dhawan and his brother Rohit Dhawan, he said, “No, but Varun is coming with a combination that I think you guys will really love.”
Karan Johar further revealed the hint of the guests by saying, “We are on our way to Yash Raj Studios right now to film with two of the dearest women in my life, both of whom have a strong bond with me both personally and professionally, and I won’t tell you who they are.”
Karan also said, “We will announce who will be joining us on Koffee with Karan season 8 tomorrow or the next day. You will find out soon enough. But they are siblings who have created a buzz over the past year with their outstanding work.”
Koffee with Karan Season 8 airs on Disney+ Hotstar on Thursdays at midnight.
