Breaking: Jhansi Hoarding Row Escalates as BJP and SP Workers Trade Sharp Allegations

A political confrontation has intensified in Jhansi after hoardings linked to a student protest issue in Karachi were put up in the city, triggering a fresh clash between BJP and Samajwadi Party workers. The controversy began when BJP leaders raised questions over the alleged silence surrounding developments connected with student protests in Karachi. Several hoardings were installed in Jhansi, prompting a strong reaction from Samajwadi Party workers. After learning about the hoardings, SP supporters reportedly came out onto the streets and climbed poles to remove them. Visuals showed workers tearing down the displays despite objections over the manner in which the hoardings were removed. The incident has now become a political flashpoint in the city. BJP leaders have accused SP workers of behaving in an aggressive manner and alleged that they openly ignored rules while removing the hoardings. The BJP has said such actions reflect a confrontational political approach. The Samajwadi Party workers, however, defended their action, claiming that the hoardings contained misleading propaganda and an objectionable image of their national president. They warned that similar displays would not be tolerated and said party workers would remove such material if it appeared again. BJP councillor Amit Rai, who said he was responsible for putting up the hoardings, announced that a police complaint would be filed against those involved in tearing them down. He also said the BJP would continue putting up its political displays and would not be intimidated by the incident.
