Accroding to reports, despite the presence of Abhijeet's  lawyer in Mumbai the police arrested him since the amount of the bounced cheque was high. He was taken straight to Satara police station post that. This reminds of the times when police had entered the Bigg Boss house during the telecast of the Hindi version of the show in the past. Armaan Kohli was arrested from Bigg Boss 7 house on the complaint filed by evicted co-contestant Sofia Hayat who accused him of physical assault. Also, Swami Om in 'Bigg Boss 10' exited the house on multiple occasions to appear in the court for the cases filed against him prior to participation in BB.
