Not Shah Rukh Khan Or Deepika Padukone, Karan Johar Says THIS Star Has Best PR Game

Karan Johar praises Ranbir Kapoor’s PR savvy, calling him the ultimate master of image control—despite not having a PR team or public social media.

In Bollywood, where image is everything, PR strategies are crucial. While most stars use social media and aggressive PR, filmmaker Karan Johar has a surprising pick for the best PR game.

Karan Johar explains Ranbir Kapoor’s PR game

Ranbir Kapoor’s absence from the public-facing digital world has always been a talking point. Unlike fellow A-listers like Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, or Alia Bhatt, who maintain a regular social media presence, Ranbir chooses to stay away. While he has previously admitted to using a secret Instagram account to keep tabs on others, he does not officially appear on any social platform.

Ranbir Kapoor’s minimal public exposure might actually be his biggest strength. While others rely on flashy campaigns and viral moments, his silence often creates more buzz. His recent resurgence in public imagination, from viral memes to his understated dance moves, has sparked speculation about the subtle PR brilliance behind his brand.

What’s Next for Ranbir Kapoor?

Ranbir Kapoor is busy working on Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, a two-part film set to release in 2026 and 2027. The movie has a big cast, including Sai Pallavi, Yash, and Sunny Deol. Ranbir is said to play the role of Lord Ram. He is also starring in Love & War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film features Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal and is expected to be a romantic drama. With these exciting projects, Ranbir is all set to entertain fans with powerful roles and grand stories in the coming years.

Meanwhile, Karan Johar’s upcoming production slate is packed. ‘Dhadak 2’, starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri, hits theatres on August 1. He also has ‘Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari’ and ‘Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri’ lined up, promising a vibrant cinematic season ahead.
