Remember Roadies contestant Sakib Khan, the young model-actor from Kashimir who had impressed all the Roadies gang leaders and presenter Rannvijay Singha with his introduction on the reality show by saying ‘Hi, I am from Kashmir and I am not a stone-pelter’.

Well, Sakib Khan has now decided to quit the glitz & glamour world of showbiz. In a long Instagram post Sakib announced that he is quitting the showbiz world, sharing a few pics of himself he wrote that he won’t be modelling or acting in the future.

He also added that he had great projects in the pipeline, but God had other plans for him.

In his post, Sakib wrote, "Asalamalikum Brothers & Sisters. Hope you all doing good. Today’s post is regarding announcement as i am quitting the SHOWBIZZ. So i won’t be doing any modelling and Acting in future.Aisa nahi hai ki kaam nahi tha mere paas or i gave up !! I had good projects in line. Bus Allah ki marzi nahi thi. Zarur kuch achaa aur behtar Allah ne soncha hoga mere liye. Insha Allah.” He further wrote how he has seen people struggling to survive in Mumbai, but he achieved great fan following and fame within a short span of one year. “But wo toh Duniya k lye aur Aakhirat (life after death) k lye toh kuch bhi nahi.”.

The actor, who hails from Kashmir came to Mumbai with a motive to change the image that people have of Kashmiris, shared his gratefulness for having achieved both fame and fandom. Saqib concluded the post by saying “I sincerely apologise to people whom I have hurt intentionally or unintentionally.

Earlier in October last year popular actress and a former Bigg Boss contestant Sana Khan too had announced on social media that she was quitting the world of showbiz.
