Dushman: This movie made it to the screens on 29th May 1998 and starred Sanjay Dutt and Kajol in lead roles. Sanjay Dutt played the role of a rebel. The film was well-received by critics as well as audience and was the seventh highest-grossing Hindi film of 1998. Sanjay Dutt gave a memorable performance as he played the role of a blind man who helps Kajol's character. Both rebelled against the rapist as a team and eventually also defeated him. Vaastav: The film, which released in 1999, was said to be loosely based on the life of Mumbai underworld gangster Chhota Rajan. Also featuring Namrata Shirodkar, late Reema Lagoo in pivotal roles, the film was very well received by both critics and audiences. 'Vaastav' was amongst the highest grossing Hindi films of the year. Sanjay Dutt won rave reviews for his performance and he even won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor. Agneepath: One of the scariest characters Sanjay Dutt has ever played, as he was the lead devil and had so much negativity in his character. The audiences loved this side of the actor which was totally opposite from Sanjay Dutt's real-self. He bulky body and baldness made the character look more evil. The character didn't come easy as the actor had underwent special training for his character and bought it to life. The movie also featured Priyanka Chopra, Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Dutt. The movie hit the screens on 26th January 2012 and got immense love from audience. Munna Bhai MBBS: This movie stays close to everyone’s heart as Sanjay Dutt showed a whole different character and aced various layers- one being a student, doctor, lover as well as a rebel against injustice to the students. The movie had a lot of interesting ingredients to it and the audiences thoroughly enjoyed it till the very end. This is one of the most loved movies of last decade which also has a great learning message. The movie featured Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Gracy Singh and Boman Irani in lead roles. Panipat: The movie is based on the third battle of Panipat and stars Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon in lead roles. The character of Sanjay Dutt, 'Ahmad Shah Abdali' was loved by all and was one of the best characters of in the film. The movie had incredible action scenes and decent story line however the film failed to recover its cost at the box-office. But, audience called him the best part about the film.
