Nusrat Jahan-Abir Chatterjee’s Bengali Film ‘Dictionary’ Selected For IFFI Goa 2021
Portraying distinct stories, ‘Dictionary’ has now achieved a milestone of being officially selected in the Indian Panorama at the prestigious IFFI Goa, 2021.
New Delhi: Directed by Bratya Basu, ‘Dictionary’ is a Bengali drama film based on popular writer Buddhadeb Guha’s ‘Baba Hoya and Swami Hoya’. Featuring in Abir Chatterjee and Nusrat Jahan in the lead roles, ‘Dictionary’ has been produced by Firdausul Hasan and Prabal Halder. The movie released theatrically on February 12, 2021.

Producer Firdausul Hasan shared the news on Twitter and wrote, “We are extremely happy to share the wonderful news that our film ‘Dictionary’ has been selected in the Indian Panorama at the prestigious IFFI Goa, 2021. A moment of pride and honour for team #Dictionary.”

The lead actor of ‘Dictionary’ Abir Chatterjee also shared the news on Twitter and wrote, “After touring quite a few prestigious festivals, elated to see #Dictionary now going to @IFFIGoa. Well done team @basu_bratya @nusratchirps @HasanFirdausul @MosharrafKarim. This is what keeps us motivated in these tough times.”
Meanwhile, speaking about Nusrat Jahan, the actress’ personal life has often made it to the headlines. Earlier this year, she gave birth to a baby boy and to maintain her privacy, Nusrat refrained from revealing the name of her child’s father. However, several reports revealed that the father of her baby boy is her rumoured boyfriend Yash Dasgupta’s. They named their son Yishaan and also shared his first picture on the occasion of Diwali this year.
On the professional front, Nusrat was last seen featuring in the Bengali movie ‘Swastik Sanket’ directed by Sayantan Ghosal.
