The teaser for Akshay Kumar’s upcoming comedy ‘Housefull 5’ was launched with much excitement on April 30. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, the film is set to release on June 6. With the release date getting closer, promotions were just starting to pick up. But now, in a surprising turn, the teaser has been taken down from YouTube, reportedly due to a copyright claim.

Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 5 teaser pulled down

The teaser for ‘Housefull 5’ was uploaded to Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment’s official YouTube channel on April 30 and quickly racked up millions of views within just 10 days. But by the morning of May 9, the video had mysteriously vanished. Those trying to view it were met with an error message stating that the content had been removed due to a copyright claim. Visitors to the page were met with an error message that read, "The video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Mofusion Studios."

While the teaser has disappeared from YouTube, it remains available on Instagram, where cast members like Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Riteish Deshmukh, and Sonam Bajwa shared it on April 30. Set to the energetic track Laal Pari by Yo Yo Honey Singh and Simar Kaur, the teaser offers a glimpse into the chaotic and colourful world of ‘Housefull 5’, showcasing its massive ensemble cast.

The reason behind the copyright strike from Mofusion Studios remains unclear. Mofusion, an India-based record label known for producing tracks by artists such as Diljit Dosanjh and Jasmine Sandlas, is reportedly behind the claim.
