Mumbai: English singer and songwriter Adele, who is one of the best-selling music artists, has announced her new album. The Grammy Award shared a post on social media to reveal the title of the album, her first in six years. This comes after she announced the release date of her new single ‘Easy On Me’, which will drop on October 15.  

Adele revealed that it took her almost three years to complete her music album, which titled ‘30’. She said that she finished the album during the most ‘turbulent period’ of her life.  

"I was certainly nowhere near where I'd hoped to be when I first started it nearly 3 years ago. Quite the opposite actually. I rely on routine and consistency to feel safe. I always have. And yet there I was knowingly - willingly even, throwing myself into a maze of absolute mess and inner turmoil," Adele said in her statement.

“I’ve learned a lot of blistering home truths about myself along the way. I’ve shed many layers but also wrapped myself in new ones,” she added.

Adele, who trended on social media post her announcement, said that she feels as if she has found feeling again'. "I’d go as far as to say that I’ve never felt more peaceful in my life. And so, I’m ready to finally put this album out," her post read.

The singer also revealed that her friend came over with wine and a takeway to cheer her up when she was writing her album.

“My wise friend who always gives the best advice. Not to forget the one who’s wild and says ‘It’s your Saturn return babes ****, you only live once," she added.

One fan expressed his happiness on the release of Taylor Swift and Adele's music albums next month. His comment read, "Taylor and Adele in November, my heart is not ready."
