Comedian Kapil Sharma, who has hogged the limelight for umpteen reasons so far, has once again piqued curiosity of viewers on the sets of the The Kapil Sharma Show after Krushna Abhishek shared how much the actor is charging for his debut web series. Kapil will be seen in a web series, but except the initial reports there is not much information about the upcoming project. In a recent episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, Krushna Abhishek ended up revealing that the new show will be shot in Shimla. In a gag, Krushna is seen as one of his characters in the show where he revealed that Kapil is charging Rs 20 crore for his debut web series. Oh wait! This information is purely a joke, however, the mention about this whopping salary for his digital debut cannot be totally overlooked. Given his stature and success in the entertainment world, it may not be a surprise that the actor has asked for this huge amount to appear in a web show. In the latest episode, Shatrughan Sinha has appeared with his son Luv, and in the next episodes Nora Fatehi is expected to appear with singer Guru Randhawa. While Genelia and Riteish Deshmukh may also be seen in the comedy chat show. Besides, Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani has wrapped up the upcoming episode of the chat show on Sunday. Both arrived on the set to promote their upcoming horror-comedy Laxmmi Bomb. As per the entertainment website Bollywood Hungama, Kapil has approved to become a part of a web series which will be streamed on Sony Liv. The talks were going on since last year; but Kapil gave a green signal in early 2020. The team was planning to shoot the entire series in the month of April. However due to lockdown, the plan had to be postponed.
