K3G Clocks 19 Years: Karan Johar Shares A Special Post Remembering The Iconic Movie

New Delhi: The 2001 drama film ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ stars Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in the lead roles. This iconic movie has been written and directed by Karan Johar. ‘K3G’ proved to be a commercially successful not only in our country but also overseas.

‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ emerged to be an iconic film during its time. The film was released on December 14, 2001. As today marks the 19th year of ‘K3G’, filmmaker Karan Johar took to his Instagram and shared a special video. His caption for the post read, “#19yearsofK3G ...I continue to be eternally grateful for the abundant love that continues to come our way... this film will always be a blessing in my filmography ....thank you for all memes, memories and moments in the past 19 years!”
Kajol also shared a scene from the movie and wrote, “How I felt all throughout 2020 #K3Gcompliments2020 #19years”
Meanwhile, filmmaker Karan Johar will be next directing his magnum opus ‘Takht’ which will star the ensemble cast of Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Vicky Kaushal, Anil Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor. It will supposedly tell the story of enmity between two brothers caused for the succession of the throne. Ranveer Singh and Vicky Kaushal will be apparently seen portraying the role of the brothers Dara and Aurangzeb respectively.
Karan Johar’s last directorial was the anthology horror movie ‘Ghost Stories’ in which he directed Segment 4 which starred Mrunal Thakur, Avinash Tiwary and others.
