Is Akshay Kumar Planning To Join Politics? THIS Is What The Actor Has To Say

At a book launch event in London, Akshay Kumar was questioned about his political aspirations.

New Delhi: Many people believe that Akshay Kumar is one of the most patriotic superstars in the history of the industry. For a very long time, the actor has been using his movies to convey important messages about societal issues. However, there is widespread speculation that the actor may soon enter politics.

At a book launch event in London, Akshay Kumar was questioned about his political aspirations. The actor addressed the rumours that had been circulating about him becoming involved in politics.

According to PTI, the actor has claimed that working in the film industry is one of the things that brings him happiness and he has no plans to join politics in the future.

Akshay said, “I am very happy making films. As an actor, I do whatever possible to take up social issues. I have produced 150 films, the one nearest to my heart is Raksha Bandhan. I produce commercial films, sometimes with social issues. I produce three-four films a year.”

The Prithviraj actor is now very busy promoting his next flick, ‘Raksha Bandhan’. In ‘Raksha Bandhan’, Akshay Kumar and filmmaker Aanand L Rai reunite after their last collaboration in ‘Atrangi Re’ in 2021. The actor takes on the part of a devoted elder brother who takes responsibility for his younger sisters. The film explores the issue of dowry.

In addition to ‘Raksha Bandhan’, Akshay's upcoming movie includes many more projects. ‘Selfiee’, ‘Ram Setu’ and ‘Gorkha’ are a few of them.
