Hosts for Oscars 2025 Nominations

The nominations announcement will be hosted by Bowen Yang and Rachel Sennott.

Bowen Yang is an American entertainer—a writer, comedian, podcaster, and actor. He has been a part of Saturday Night Live’s writing team since 2018. Rachel Sennott is a rising comedy star known for her standout performances in films like Shiva Baby, Bodies Bodies Bodies, and Bottoms.

Why Oscars 2025 Nominations Were Postponed

The nominations announcement was rescheduled twice due to the Los Angeles wildfires. Originally set for January 17, it was postponed to January 19 and later moved to January 23.

To accommodate the delay, the Academy extended the voting period and canceled the Oscar Nominees Luncheon, a traditional pre-ceremony event. The 97th Academy Awards will take place on March 2, 2025, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, with Conan O'Brien as the host.
