Allu Arjun For Shaktimaan? Mukesh Khanna Approves Pushpa 2 Star For The Iconic Role

While clarifying that no official commitments have been made, Mukesh Khanna suggested in a recent video that Allu Arjun would make an excellent choice for the iconic superhero role.

After watching ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, Mukesh Khanna has expressed that he sees Allu Arjun as a perfect fit to play Shaktimaan. While clarifying that no official commitments have been made, Mukesh suggested in a recent video that Arjun would make an excellent choice for the iconic superhero role.

Allu Arjun to play Shaktimaan?

“I am not committing to anything, but I think he (Arjun) can be Shaktimaan. He has good looks and height, but they (Pushpa makers) have turned him into a villain. But he would suit the role of Shaktimaan.”

The actor also talked about “Pushpa: The Rule” and the actor's performance in the mega-hit.

“It won’t be achieved by just throwing around money, you can see how hard they worked to make it. I will only praise Pushpa 2 from the first frame; every frame speaks of how they did well. When you have conviction in yourself, you convince the audience itself. Forget the logic, it’s mindblowing,” he said.

“They have glamourised smuggling sandalwood. What is the message you want to give? Do you want to show people they can smuggle and even beat the police? I want to tell filmmakers from the south not to make such films just to score a hit,” the actor added.

Allu Arjun granted bail

On the other hand, Allu Arjun was released from Chanchalguda Central Jail on Saturday morning after spending a night in custody following his involvement in the stampede incident at a theatre during the premiere of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’.

Though the Telangana High Court granted the actor interim bail on Friday evening, an hour after a lower court had remanded him to 14 days of judicial custody, a delay in receiving the bail orders led to him spending the night in jail.

The national award-winning actor was released from the rear gate of the prison and escorted to a vehicle. He then drove straight to the office of Geeta Arts. His return to his residence in Jubilee Hills is expected later.

Meanwhile, the police have heightened security around his home to manage the surge of fans following his release.
