Guns & Gulaabs Actor Pooja Gor On Returning To TV: 'If An Opportunity...'

New Delhi: Pooja Gor was most recently seen in the Raj & DK Netflix show 'Guns & Gulaabs' alongside Rajkummar Rao and Dulquer Salmaan. The former TV actor who has made her presence felt on OTT shared in an interaction with ETimes that if she gets a good opportunity, she will definitely return to TV.
In an interaction with ETimes, Pooja Gor said, "I have spent considerable time in the TV industry to realize that as an actor, your job is to do complete justice to your part and leave the rest to the Almighty. OTT doesn't have a TRP mechanism as such, since the entire series comes out in one go, the success or failure is cast in stone, while with TV, the ratings come on a weekly basis, and the makers get an opportunity to alter the track on the go to suit the taste of the audience."
Sharing her experience of working with Dulquer Salmaan, she shared that he was 'very humble and kind to everyone'. She further added, " He is very hardworking and brilliant at his job. It becomes easy to work when you have a good co-actor, and I am so glad I was paired opposite DQ."
Pooja Gor also spoke about her comeback on TV. She told ETimes, " I owe a big part of my success to TV. It is home. I will always be open to doing both fiction and non-fiction shows on TV, if a suitable opportunity presents itself in the future, which aligns with my interest. Currently, I am shooting for Anubhav Sinha's OTT show 'Flight Into Fear' where I am paired opposite Vijay Varma.
Pooja also praised her recent collaborators,Raj & DK, who directed 'Guns & Gulaabs'. Calling their storytelling 'unique', she shared that ‘they give a lot of freedom to their actors to improvise and give their inputs’.
Pooja was seen in the role of Madhu in the Raj & DK series 'Guns & Gulaabs' which is streaming on Netflix.
