Pakistani actors Fawad Khan, Hania Aamir, and Mawra Hocane have spoken out against the tragic terror attack in Pahalgam, calling it deeply heartbreaking. In their messages, they expressed sorrow over the loss of lives and extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims, standing in solidarity during this difficult time.

Pakistani actors react to terror attack in Pahalgam

Fawad Khan, who is set to appear in the upcoming film ‘Abir Gulaal’ alongside Vaani Kapoor, took to Instagram Stories to share his grief over the recent tragedy. He wrote, “Deeply saddened to hear the news of the heinous attack in Pahalgam. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this horrifying incident and we pray for strength and healing for their families in this difficult time”.

Fawad's post comes amid the growing criticism aimed at him and Vaani Kapoor over their upcoming film.

Actor Hania Aamir was one of the first Pakistani celebrities to respond to the incident. Sharing her thoughts on Instagram Stories, she wrote, “Tragedy anywhere is a tragedy for all of us. My heart is with the innocent lives affected by the recent events. In pain, in grief, and in hope—we are one. When innocent lives are lost, the pain is not theirs alone—it belongs to all of us. No matter where we come from, grief speaks the same language. May we choose humanity, always."

Mawra Hocane also shared a post and wrote, “My deepest condolences to the affected families... An act of terrorism against one is terrorism against all...What’s happening to the world”.

Actor Usama Khan took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and wrote, “Heartfelt condolences to the famlies & loved ones of the #PahalgamAttack victims. May they find strength during this difficult time. Terrorism is condemnable, regardless of where it occurs, whether in Pakistan, India, or anywher else. We shd stand against sch senseless violence”.

Pahalgam terror attack

On Tuesday afternoon, a devastating attack claimed the lives of at least 26 people when armed terrorists killed tourists in the Baisaran Valley of Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. The assailants, who descended from the surrounding hills, opened fire on innocent civilians around 3 PM.
