Aditya Singh Rajput Death Case: Actor's Mother Records Her Statement With Oshiwara Police, Post Mortem To Be Done Today

Television actor Aditya Singh Rajput was found dead on the afternoon of May 22. The Oshiwara police is recording the statement of Aditya's mother Usha Singh at the hospital in Mumbai.

New Delhi: Television actor Aditya Singh Rajput was found dead on the afternoon of May 22. The actor's body was found in the bathroom of his Andheri home. He was declared dead when he arrived at the hospital. 

As per the latest development in the case, the Oshiwara police is recording the statement of Aditya's mother Usha Singh at the hospital where the actor's post mortem is taking place. Usha Singh, who lives in Delhi, immediately left for Mumbai after hearing about her son's death.

Earlier, the Oshiwara police also recorded the statements of three other people related to Aditya- including his domestic help, his private doctor and his watchman. Further investigation by the police is underway. Aditya's post mortem began at 11am today and his last rites will be performed today after the consent of his family, as reported by news agency ANI.

Aditya Singh Rajput, a well-known actor, model, and casting coordinator in Mumbai, was found dead in the bathroom of the 11th floor of the highrise he resided in. His friend found him dead inside the residence. He drove him to the neighbourhood hospital with the help of the building watchman. He was declared brought dead at the hospital.

Although the exact reason for his death is still unknown, reports suggest that a "drug overdose" may have happened.

The 'Splitsvilla' fame was born in Delhi and began his career as a model. Aditya's family resides in Delhi and he was sharing a flat in the Lashkaria Heights complex in Andheri Lokhandwala. Aditya Singh Rajput was popular in Mumbai's celebrity circuits and worked as a casting coordinator. He appeared in films like 'Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara' and 'Krantiveer'. He took part in reality series like 'Splitsvilla 9' and worked on TV projects like 'Love', 'Ashiqui', 'Code Red', 'Aawaz Season 9', 'Bad Boy Season 4', and others. He also appeared in almost 300 commericals.
