Arjun Rampal's EXCLUSIVE Statement In Drugs Case: NCB Seized 'Dog Medicines' During Raid

Actor Arjun Rampal has made a big disclosure in his statement saying that during the raids, the NCB officials had seized his dog's pain medication and his sister's ANXIETY medicine. Read on.

New Delhi: The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raided Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal’s house while investigating the drug nexus in Bollywood which emerged while probing the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput. The investigating agency is questioning actors from the film industry to get a breakthrough in the film industry-drug cartel nexus. NCB Questions Arjun Rampal For Nearly 6 Hours; Says ‘Investigation Is Still On, Arjun Will Be Called Again’ Arjun Rampal was called for interrogation by the NCB twice. His girlfriend Gabriella Demtriades was also called in for questioning by the agency. However, the ‘Daddy’ actor has now alleged the NCB of his seizing his dog’s pain medication and his sister’s anxiety pills during the raid that was conducted at his residence. According to the exclusive information received by ABP News, Arjun Rampal told NCB that one of the two types of tablets received from his house was for his dog, which was prescribed by a Veterinary doctor. The ‘Om Shanti Om’ actor further told that the other tablet was of his sister, which was also prescribed by a psychiatrist from Delhi keeping in mind the problem of her anxiety. In his statement, Rampal had also made it clear that the reason for which he was summoned is actually baseless. According to the information received from NCB sources, after the arrest of Agisilaos Demetriades, brother of Arjun Rampal's girlfriend, when NCB investigated his mobile, some of his alleged drug chats with a person named Arjun came to light. With this information in hand, the NCB, on November 9, raided Arjun Rampal's Bandra house. After a long raid, the police got two types of tablets from their house, out of which the name of the first pill is 'ULTRACET', which a person can consume only if it has been prescribed. This tablet is made by combining two types of drugs 'TRAMADOL' (also known as ISIS drugs) and ACETAMINOPH. One leaf of the tablet comprises of 15 tablets, NCB got only four tablets in that leaf during the raid. The second tablet which was recovered from Arjun Rampal's house is named 'CLONAZEPAM', it is used for panic attack and anxiety. The agency had recovered two cards of this tablet. If sources are to be believed, NCB did not find anything suspicious there as they suspected after reading the chats between Agisialos and someone named Arjun. Both the tablets which were seized from the actor’s house cannot be consumed without a proper prescription. After raiding Arjun Rampal's house, NCB questioned his girlfriend Gabriella on November 11 and 12. On November 13, the NCB had made a lot of preparations that they would inquire about every chat that took place between him and Agisialos. That day, as soon as Arjun Rampal reached the NCB office, the investigating officers of the NCB showed him a copy of those chats and before he asked some questions to the ‘Rajneeti’ actor, Arjun said that this is not him and he daily as they do not even talk so much. After which NCB checked that number and found that Arjun Rampal was right. The agency inquired about both the tablets, replying to which Arjun said one (ULTRACET) was for his dog, which was prescribed by a Mumbai-based Veterinary Doctor, and the other (CLONAZEPAM) is for his sister, which was prescribed by Rohit Garg of Delhi. After this, the NCB started investigating those prescriptions and recorded the statement of the Veterinary Doctor in Bandra. The doctor told the agency that he had given this medicine to Arjun Rampal's dog in June. There is a lot of pain in his dog's joints and when he starts shouting loudly out of pain, he needs this medicine very much. The investigating agency also found that the prescription of the second tablet was made by Arjun Rampal on a back date and the evidence of this was found by the NCB after recording the statement of Delhi-based psychiatrist Rohit Garg. Arjun Rampal was again called in by the NCB for questioning on November 21. He was interrogated about the backdated prescription, to which Arjun Rampal said that this medicine is not his sister's and he does not know anything about it. The NCB has not yet questioned the actor’s sister. Talking to APB News, a senior NCB official said that only after conducting the raid, the backdated prescriptions have been made. The official further revealed that they are consulting with their legal advisors on what and how they can take further legal action.
