New Delhi: Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal earlier today appeared before the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for the second time in just over a month. Rampal is being questioned regarding the alleged drugs case which emerged while investigating the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput. The investigating agency is questioning actors from the film industry to get a breakthrough in the film industry-drug cartel nexus after SSR’s death shook the nation a few months ago. Drug Case: Arjun Rampal Appears For Second Time Before Anti-Drugs Agency According to the latest reports, the ‘Daddy actor has been questioned by the NCB for almost six hours today (December 21, 2020). An official told PTI, “Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal was on Monday questioned for nearly six hours by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with a drug case lodged following the death of filmstar Sushant Singh Rajput.” “Rampal was summoned last week but he had sought time till December 22 to appear before the central agency citing personal reasons”, the official added. Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director, Mumbai told during a media interaction, “The investigation is still on, nothing much can be said at the moment. I cannot say much about the prescription of medicine, Arjun will be called again.” Arjun Rampal reached the NCB office at around 11.30 am and was spotted leaving the office at around 5.30 pm on Monday. The ‘Rock On’ actor was grilled last month on November 13 for almost 7 hours by the investigating agency. Reportedly, the agency also seized all of Arjun Rampal’s electronic gadgets including laptops, mobile phones, pen drives, tablets, and some medicines banned under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act during the search at his residence. The ‘Om Shanti Om’ actor’s girlfriend Gabriella Demtriades was questioned for two days, while her brother, Agisilaos Demetriades, and Rampal's friend Paul Bartel were arrested in connection with the case. Both the actor and his girlfriend have been in a live-in relationship for a long time and have a son together named Arik.
