Arjun Rampal Asks Time Till Dec 22 From NCB, Says Busy With Personal Work

Actor Arjun Rampal who has been summoned for questioning by the NCB has asked for more time as he is occupied with personal work.

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal has asked for more time from the  Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). According to senior officials from the agency, the actor has asked for time till December 22 as he was occupied with some personal work. Rampal was summoned for the second time on Tuesday for questioning today. The NCB team had already raided Arjun Rampal's house wherein some objectionable items were found from his house. NCB had also detained Rampal's girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades' brother Agisialos Demetriades a few months ago. ALSO READ| Kangana Ranaut Asks Hrithik Roshan To Stop Crying Over A 'Little Affair' Rampal's troubles mounted last month as the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) grilled him for nearly 7 hours even as his Australian friend Paul Bartel was arrested in a drug-related case investigation. As per reports, Bartel was in regular touch with Agisialos Demetriades, who is an alleged drug peddler and the brother of Gabriella Demetriades, the live-in partner of Rampal. Authorities had seized Hashish and Alprazolam tablets from him. Reports say that the NCB had said that medicine requires a doctor's prescription. Rampal during questioning had said that he has a prescription for the tablets and that he uses it as painkillers. As part of the investigations in NCB drugs case, over 25 persons have been arrested so far and more than 50 - including Bollywood personalities, actors, actresses, some foreigners, drug suppliers and peddlers, etc have been grilled by the NCB to unravel the nexus. Those under the NCB radar include Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, Arjun Rampal, Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiya, among others.
