How Did Burglar Enter Saif Ali Khan, Kareena's Home? Police Trace Intruder's Path
An intruder broke into Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor's home through an open fire exit. He was confronted by Saif, resulting in a knife attack that injured Saif.
Saif Ali Khan Attack Update: The police have finally traced the path that the intruder took to gain entry to the flat owned by Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. The actor couple own four floors of the building in the Satguru Sharan Society, police sources said.
The intruder gained entry to Saif's home through the emergency fire exit, which was open. The burglar was likely unaware that it was the actors' home. The thief then reached the fire exit through the staircase at the back of the building. In all probability, the burglar accessed the compound by scaling the boundary wall.

The staircase at the back has several blindspots, which are hidden from the CCTV cameras as well. But cops have managed to get his image from the footage captured on the CCTV cameras both while going up and while escaping the building.
The intruder's only intention was to burgle homes at the posh-locality building, as per police. Once he gained entry into the house, he found himself standing in the maid's room. The maid caught him and raised an alarm.
Alerted by her screams, Saif rushed to her room and tried to overpower the intruder. In the scuffle that ensued, the intruder slashed Saif with a knife six times. Saif sustained injuries to his neck, left hand, and his back.

The knife was left lodged in his back. It pierced his thoracic spinal cord and led to a spinal fluid leak. Saif underwent a 2.5-hour surgery to have the knife removed.
The police have identified the intruder but is yet to be caught. The police believe that he fled to the Prabha Devi area in Mumbai and a team is hunting for him.

Actor Karishma Tanna, who played the role of journalist and murder-accused Jigna Vora in Hansal Mehta's highly acclaimed web series 'Scoop', lives in the same building where Saif and Kareena live.
Apart from this, several high-ranking officials and ambassadors purportedly have their homes in the society.
