'If Celebs Are Not Safe...': Kejriwal Tears Into 'Double-Engine' Maharashtra Govt Over Attack On Saif Ali Khan
Saif Ali Khan News: Arvind Kejriwal has slammed the Maharashtra government as well as the BJP-led Centre over the attack on Saif Ali Khan, highlighting the safety concerns of celebrities and public.

Saif Ali Khan Attack Update: Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal slammed the Devendra Fadnavis government in Maharashtra over the attack on actor Saif Ali Khan. He said that this was not the first attack on a celebrity.
Referring to the threats to Salman Khan, the firing outside the superstar's house, and the assassination of NCP leader Baba Siddique, Arvind Kejriwal said: " "If celebrities of the country are not safe, how can the common man feel protected? How can such a big actor who has no dearth of security be attacked like this? This raises a big question for the central government and the state governments. Both governments have failed to provide security to the people."

Kejriwal Says Lawrence Bishnoi Has Free Hand
He also referred to Lawrence Bishnoi and said: "A gangster sitting in a jail in Gujarat is openly demanding ransom and ordering hits. Gangsters are openly running their affairs all over the country. It seems that there are criminals in the country and they have a good influence on the current governments [at the Centre and Maharashtra].
Kejriwal said that the Centre keeps complaining about Bangladeshis entering India illegally. "If you [BJP] are not able to protect the country and its borders then you should resign... Be it Delhi, the country, women, men, businessmen, children... no one is safe. It is clear that the -engine governments can neither provide a good government nor security," Kejriwal said.
