Breaking: Sensex Falls Over 500 Points for Second Day, Markets Reeling Under Heavy Selling

The Indian stock market continued its downward slide for the second consecutive day, with the Sensex falling by more than 500 points during early trading on Thursday. The fear of tighter monetary policy in the US has made global investors cautious, directly impacting emerging markets like India. According to market analysts, export and import-linked sectors have been hit the hardest. Stocks related to metals, IT, and manufacturing showed visible weakness, reflecting concerns over global demand and rising borrowing costs. Broader market indices also traded lower, indicating that the selling pressure was not limited to blue-chip stocks alone. Analysts have advised investors to remain cautious in the short term and avoid panic-driven decisions as volatility is expected to continue.
