Honda Launches CB200X Bike In India, Learn More About Its Price And Features

Japanese auto company Honda has launched its new bike CB200X in the Indian market. The company has started accepted bookings for this amazing bike right after its launch on August 19.

New Delhi: Japanese auto company Honda launched its new bike CB200X in the Indian market. This bike from Honda is based on the looks of the Hornet 2.0 motorcycle. The company has started accepted bookings for this bike right after its launch on August 19.

One can book Honda CB200X by doing a down-payment of Rs 2000. This bike has been priced at Rs 1.44 lakh (ex-showroom price Gurugram). It is by far Honda's budget-friendly adventure bike to date. Honda's new adventure bike has no real competitors in the Indian market. In adventure lineups, the company currently sells its CB500X motorcycle in the Indian market.

Honda CB200X Specifications

Honda's CB200X bike is based on the platform of the Hornet 2.0 bike. It has a 184cc BSVI PGM-FI engine. It has a single cylinder engine that produces 17 bhp of power and 161 Nm of torque. It has a 5-speed gearbox.

The company has launched this bike in 3 color options, Pearl Nightstar Black, Matte Celine Silver Metallic and Sports Red. This bike comes equipped with an all LED lighting package, including LED Headlamps, Tail Lamps, Winkers.

The bike has disc brakes in both front and rear, equipped with ABS feature. The company has included 5Y alloy wheels, duplicate covers and integrator LED vendors in this bike. The windscreen has also been kept slightly higher in the bike, something which we get to see only in adventure bikes.

Honda's CB200X will compete with bikes like Hero XPulse and Royal Enfield Himalayan in its segment. These bikes have also garnered a lot of praise in their segments. It will now be interesting to see how would this new bike from Honda bike compete with these two.
