Facelifted Hyundai Creta SUV To Be Launched Soon - Know Premium Upgrades, Specs & Price

2022 Hyundai Creta SUV is soon going to be launched in Brazilian markets and in many other South American countries. It is expected to be equipped with a number of premium upgrades.

New Delhi: South Korea's largest auto company Hyundai is soon going to launch the 2022 variant of it's Creta SUV in Brazil. The company will launch the facelifted variant of this popular compact SUV on August 25 in the South American market. Creta is getting a lot of love from customers in the Brazilian Automotive market. The company is expected to provide a number of new updates in this variant. The most significant update would be its redesigned grill like the one seen in Hyundai's latest Alcazar SUV. Let's know about its features and engine variants.  

The Brazilian edition of Hyundai Creta may see a lot of changes in its interior and exterior. This facelifted version of the popular Hyundai compact SUV may have a new front grill and a new boot lid. It is rumoured to have many exterior updates including headlights and taillights, alloy wheels, similar to the Indian Edition. For safety features, it can include features like ADAS, electronic parking brakes, lane assists, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitor and parking cameras.

Features

Creta's Brazilian edition can feature features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, bluelink connectivity, climate control, panoramic sunroof, heated seats and multi-drive mode, a 10.25-inch infotainment screen and a 7-inch digital instrument console to make the car stand out from others.

In the Brazil edition of the Hyundai Creta, the company could use a 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine and a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated engine, which can be mated to a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. The car 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine can generate maximum power of 121 hp and maximum torque of 172 Nm. At the same time, the 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine can generate 168 hp power and 201 Nm peak torque.

The facelifted Hyundai Creta SUV will compete with the Kia Seltos. Talking about the price, the price of 1.5 liter petrol engine variant of the car is Rs. 9.9 lakh and the price of Kia Seltos 1.4 liter turbo petrol engine is Rs. 17.3 lakh. Looking at the diesel engine, the base variant of Kia Seltos costs Rs. 10.4 lakh and the top-end variant is priced at Rs. 17.4 lakh.
