Automobile Industry Witnesses Increase In Sales During June: FADA

Federation of Automobile Dealers Association said there has been an increase in the retail sales of vehicles in the month of June as compared to May this year.

The Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA) on Thursday said that the auto industry witnessed a hike in sales after the relaxation of lockdown imposed by different states to prevent the spread of coronavirus. After lockdown restrictions were eased, there has been an improvement in the retail sales of vehicles in June as compared to May of 2021.

Increased June Sales

FADA said registration of vehicles in different segments increased during the month of June. The industry body said that the retail sales of passenger vehicles increased to 1,84,134 units in June from 85,733 units in May 2021. A piece of good news for the auto industry after retail sales declined last month due to the second wave of coronavirus pandemic.
