BYD Atto 3 Facelift India Launch This Year End

The front end is noticeable with the sharper cuts while the headlamp design stays the same. There are new alloy wheels though while there is a new rear spoiler.

BYD has revealed the facelifted version of its most affordable SUV, the Atto 3. The Atto 3 facelift gets a new look front end as well as rear with new bumpers plus updated lighting too. The front end is noticeable with the sharper cuts while the headlamp design stays the same. There are new alloy wheels though while there is a new rear spoiler.

The new Atto 3 also has an updated ADAS system which is more hitech with 29 sensors plus no less than four surround cameras, five long range cameras, radars etc. This means enhanced ADAS features. We expect the interior to remain largely the same in terms of the rotating touchscreen but the design could be tweaked in favour of plusher materials plus redesigned switchgear.

Performance and range would not be changed as this is a facelift with the 60.5 kWh battery pack while entry level variants get a smaller one. Looking at the way BYD is getting aggressive in India, we can expect the new Atto 3 to come to India fast. We also expect some small price changes owing to these changes.

Recently the EV maker launched the Sealion 7 in India and the facelifted BYD Atto 3 could come as early as end of this year. The Atto 3 is one of their best selling cars in India being in the compact luxury ev space and with growing competition, BYD should bring this updated model fast in India.
