In order to challenge the Mahagathbandhan administration in the state, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is beginning a two-day visit to Bihar. His goal is to help the party become a powerful force before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, news agency ANI reported.
While there, he will participate in a "Jan Bhavna Mahasabha" and preside over a meeting of the BJP State Core Committee. The first event of Shah's visit will be a speech at the "Jan Bhavna Mahasabha" scheduled for Friday at noon at the Rangbhoomi Ground in Purnia. One of Bihar's 38 districts is called Purnia.
