Hyderabad Man Claims IndiGo Staff Left His Luggage In Qatar Due To 'Lack Of Space', Airliner Responds
The passenger confirmed on his post that passengers weren't aware of the situation until they arrived in Hyderabad and realised that their luggage was missing.

In a surprising turn of events, an IndiGo airline, going from Doha to Hyderabad has 'left' passengers' luggage behind due to a lack of space on the flight. The passenger shared photographs on social media and explained that the airline allegedly left passengers' luggage in Doha as it was full and couldn't accommodate the bags.
Madhan Kumar Reddy Kotla - a Project Manager at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) - shared his experience with IndiGo in a long LinkedIn post. Kotla confirmed that passengers weren't aware of the situation until they arrived in Hyderabad and realised that their luggage was missing.
"I had the worst experience travelling with IndiGo on 11th January. They left our baggage in Doha and didn't even inform us," he wrote. Chaos erupted at Hyderabad Airport when several passengers discovered their luggage was missing from the conveyor belt.
Kotla recounted the ordeal, stating, "IndiGo staff claimed the baggage would arrive within 24 hours. Passengers were directed to the 14th baggage belt to provide their details but with only one staff member attending to over 20 people." He further explained in his long post.

Kotla also criticised the behaviour of the ground staff, particularly a manager who he alleged was "shouting at passengers." He added, "When passengers demanded more staff to assist, he (the manager) argued that the process wouldn't take more than 15 minutes. It was chaotic, and relatives waiting outside for the passengers only added to the frustration."
Although Kotla eventually received his luggage three days later, he described the delivery process as "shocking."He wrote, "You wouldn't believe how the luggage was delivered, stuffed in an auto. Some items, including my watch, were missing from my baggage."
Reacting to Kotla's post IndiGo wrote, "Mr Kotla, we sincerely regret the inconvenience caused to you and are concerned to know this. Requesting you to please share your PNR with us via DM so we may get this checked. ~Team IndiGo".
