OnePlus Buds 4 Unveiled Ahead Of Launch: Flagship Audio, Price Tag, More Details Revealed

OnePlus Buds 4 will be available in two colour variants — Pine Green and Deep Space Grey.

As anticipation builds for the launch of OnePlus’s latest smartphones — the Ace 5 Racing Edition and the Ace 5 Ultra — set to be unveiled on May 27 in China, the tech brand has stirred further excitement by officially revealing its upcoming true wireless earbuds: the OnePlus Buds 4. As reported by Gizmochina, the company has not only showcased the design of the new earbuds but also confirmed their pricing and a few standout features just a day before the big event.

Price, Colours, And Student Deal

OnePlus has priced the Buds 4 at 449 Yuan (approximately Rs 5,300), making them a competitively positioned offering in the mid-range audio segment. For students, there's an added incentive: a special discount of 30 Yuan, bringing the effective price down to 419 Yuan (around Rs 4,950).

The earbuds will be available in two colour variants — Pine Green and Deep Space Grey. Sales are set to commence on May 27 at 4:00 PM local time in China, right after the official launch.

Noise Cancellation That Pushes Boundaries

In terms of performance, the OnePlus Buds 4 appear to be pushing the envelope on audio quality and noise control. The earbuds promise an impressive 55dB of noise reduction, supported by a broad 5500Hz noise cancellation bandwidth.

This should allow users to enjoy immersive sound even in noisy environments. A revamped dual microphone system, enhanced with AI noise cancellation, is said to significantly improve call clarity — potentially making these earbuds a solid pick for professionals and commuters alike.

Dual Drivers, AI Translation & Audio Tuning

The Buds 4 are equipped with dual dynamic drivers aimed at delivering well-balanced sound, from deep bass to crisp highs. OnePlus has included a dual DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter) to further refine the audio output, and the brand's proprietary “golden sound tuning” is said to deliver an optimised, premium listening experience. One standout feature is the addition of real-time AI translation along with dual-mode translation, which could be especially useful for frequent travellers or multilingual users.

Final Word Awaited On Full Specs

While OnePlus has revealed several headline features, the full specifications sheet remains under wraps for now. More detailed insights are expected to emerge during the launch event on May 27. But if the early teasers are anything to go by, the OnePlus Buds 4 could prove to be a compelling addition to the brand’s audio portfolio.
