Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang Says He Uses AI 'Every Day', Claims It Doesn't Make People Dumber

Nvidia chief Jensen Huang opens up about how AI is impacting his daily life, and why he believes it’s helping people become smarter, not the opposite.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has dismissed fears that artificial intelligence is making people less intelligent. In a recent statement, Huang said he personally uses AI “every day” and doesn’t believe the technology is causing mental laziness. Instead, he sees AI as a tool that allows people to be more productive and creative.

His comments come at a time when debates around AI’s influence on human thinking, creativity and productivity are becoming increasingly common, especially as tools like ChatGPT and image generators become more integrated into daily life.

'I Use AI Every Day'

Speaking in an interview, Huang shared that AI has become part of his daily workflow. He emphasised that people tend to learn best by doing and that AI empowers users by acting as a creative and supportive partner rather than replacing their thinking.

“I literally use AI every day,” Huang said, countering critics who claim that the widespread use of AI tools will eventually weaken human cognitive abilities. “My cognitive skills are actually advancing.”

Huang Sees AI As A Productivity Tool

Rather than framing AI as a threat, Huang highlighted its role in expanding possibilities for creators and professionals. From drafting ideas to speeding up design or development processes, he sees AI as an enabling force. People learn by doing, thinking, and creating, he said, implying that AI enhances rather than hinders this process.

His stance reflects Nvidia’s broader vision, as the company continues to build some of the world’s most powerful GPUs that power leading AI models and infrastructure. Nvidia has been at the centre of the AI boom, thanks to the demand for its chips used in training large language models.
