This new lineup follows the Phone 2a series, which previously introduced a Plus variant instead of a Pro model. Official teasers have already provided glimpses of the device's design, while leaks and speculations over the past months have painted a fairly clear picture of what’s to come. Here’s everything we know so far.

The Nothing Phone 3a series is expected to debut at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona, Spain.

The official unveiling is scheduled for 3:30 pm IST (10:00 AM GMT), according to the company’s announcement.

Nothing Phone 3a: Expected Price, Availability In India

The new smartphones will be available for purchase through Flipkart in India. Pricing leaks suggest the Nothing Phone 3a could start at Rs 24,999, while the Pro variant may be priced at Rs 31,999. For comparison, the previous Phone (2a) was introduced at Rs 23,999, while the (2a) Plus launched at Rs 27,999.

Nothing Phone 3a: Expected Specifications, Features

Both models are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset with a peak clock speed of 2.5GHz. For comparison, the Phone (2a) featured the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro, which reached 2.8GHz, while the (2a) Plus used the Dimensity 7350 Pro with a top speed of 3.0GHz.

A 5,000mAh battery is expected in both devices, similar to their predecessors. In terms of memory and storage, the standard 3a variant may come in 8GB/12GB RAM options with storage capacities of 128GB or 256GB. The Pro model could be available in a single 12GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration.

The camera setup on both phones might feature a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens (OIS). The standard variant could offer 2x optical zoom, whereas the Pro may include 3x zoom capabilities. On the front, the 3a might sport a 32MP selfie camera, while the Pro could include a 50MP front-facing shooter.

The series is likely to boast a 6.77-inch flat LTPS AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution, 387 PPI, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The screen is expected to have a centrally placed punch-hole camera and Panda Glass protection.

One of the unique additions to this lineup could be the “Essential Key” positioned on the right side of the device. Pressing this button is said to open Essential Space, an AI-powered hub for storing screenshots, voice notes, and other quick-access content.

Additional specifications may include IP64-rated dust and water resistance, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.4. The Pro variant is also rumored to be approximately 10 grams heavier than the standard model.
