Devices equipped with the latest Intel Core Ultra 200V and AMD Ryzen AI chips, running the most up-to-date version of Windows, will receive the Copilot Plus PC features through a free update.

Microsoft has announced that its new AI features for Windows will begin rolling out to Intel and AMD notebooks starting in November. Previously, the Copilot Plus was only available on Qualcomm-powered devices, but it will now be accessible on a broader range of laptops. Copilot Plus Delayed?

Microsoft plans to introduce these AI features gradually, with some being made available to all devices, while others will first be tested through the Windows Insider program before reaching a larger audience. Additionally, the company is working on releasing the delayed Recall AI features to Copilot Plus PCs, following a postponement due to security concerns.

The feature tracks your activity on the computer to deliver more accurate responses. However, concerns arose about the extent of its data collection, leading Microsoft to delay its original July launch. The company now plans to release it to Windows Insider testers in October before a wider rollout to Copilot Plus PCs.

In the meantime, Windows laptops powered by AMD's Ryzen AI 300 series, such as the Asus ZenBook 16, HP OmniBook Ultra 14, and Asus TUF A14, are already available for purchase. Intel and its partners are also set to launch laptops featuring the Core Ultra 200V/Series 2 processors in the coming weeks.
