Time To Bid Goodbye To Hike StickerChat, Company Rebrands Hikeland To Vibe And Introduces ‘Rush’
Hike CEO Kavin Bharti Mittal announced in a Twitter thread that the company was shutting down Hike StickerChat but with rebrand Hikeland to Vibe. Mittal also announced, that company has launched Rush - a gaming service which allows you to create selfie avatars.
New Delhi: Indigenously developed Hike Sticker messenger is shutting down this month, as per the tweets by CEO Kavin Bharti Mittal. The company will instead focus its energy on ‘Vibe’ and ‘Rush’.
According to a Gadgets360 report, Hike Sticker Chat hasn’t been as successful as the company had hoped for. Meanwhile, Mittal said that the app has a 35 mins per day usage on the app and while thanking the loyal fanbase Mittal added that it was a launchpad for HikeMoji and HikeLand products. “All your data will be available to download in the app. Your HikeMoji will continue to be available in both Vibe & Rush!” Mittal tweeted. Previously loved, Hikeland has been rebranded to ‘Vibe by Hike’, which is an approval-based community, so people it is invite-only and people have to apply to join. Though the criteria hasn’t been specified, Mittal said in his tweet that 100k people have already applied. The other app they will focus on is ‘Rush’, a “bite-sized” gaming service in which users can create their selfie avatars and play games like Carrom and Ludo. Rush has been launched in iOS.
