Ashley St. Clair, a 31-year-old conservative influencer in a post on X claimed that she is the mother of X-owner Elon Musk's child. Clair on Saturday morning posted a statement that read, “Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father." The caption that she posted along with the statement read, “Alea lacta est,” Latin for “the die is cast.” If confirmed, this would mark Elon Musk’s 13th child.

Her statement read, “I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause. I intend to allow our child to grow in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I ask that the media honor our child’s privacy, and refrain from invasive reporting.”

The DOGE chief, who follows St. Clair on the platform, shared multiple posts on different topics within an hour of her unexpected announcement. Three hours later, St. Clair returned to thank her supporters in a tweet before stating that she would be logging off the platform.

Clair wrote, “In all sincerity, appreciate the kind words. Wish I did not feel the need to make a statement. Kids should be off limits for journalists. Will be spending time with my family & logging off for a while.”

If confirmed, this would mark Elon Musk’s 13th child, shared with four different women. The Tesla founder, originally from South Africa, has five children with his first wife, Justine Wilson: twins Vivian and Griffin, followed by triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian.

With musician Grimes, Musk has three children: toddler X, who has been seen accompanying him at the White House, daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, and son Techno Mechanicus. Additionally, Musk shares twins, Strider and Azure, with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis. The entire family was reportedly present during Thursday’s meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Meanwhile, St. Clair was seen attending the New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, dressed head-to-toe in Balenciaga, according to insiders who spoke to The New York Post. She also recently ended a 40-week hiatus from Instagram, posting a photo of herself at Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20.
