British YouTuber Miles Routledge was raised as a single child in Falcon Lodge, Birmingham. According to his tweets, his father was a sperm donor, and he was conceived through in vitro fertilisation.

A British YouTuber named Miles Routledge has been making headlines recently over a series of racist posts aimed at Indians. The YouTuber very casually said that he would launch nuclear missiles at India "just for the heck of it." This 25-year-old content creator was also making headlines last year when he was held captive for eight months by the Taliban regime in Afghanistan. Netizens are divided on this, with some supporting the hatemonger and some opposing him and his statements fiercely.

Are you also wondering who is this guy? How about we dive into his life and try to understand why he is like this?

Who Is Miles Routledge

Routledge was raised as a single child in Falcon Lodge, Birmingham. According to his tweets, his father was a sperm donor, and he was conceived through in vitro fertilisation.

According to reports, he attended Hollyfield School and completed his sixth form at Plantsbrook School in 2018. During his time in school, he worked part-time as a hairdresser before continuing his studies at Loughborough University, where he initially focused on physics before shifting to banking and finance. His time at the university was cut short due to controversies, including issues related to his book on Afghanistan.

Back in 2021, he planned a trip to Afghanistan to witness life under Taliban's offensive, however, just two days after his arrival, the fall of Kabul occured. The British government had issued warnings regarding travel to Kabul but he ignored them to document his experience. When Taliban took control of the area, he was stranded and sought refuge in a safe house. Then after some time he was rescued by the British Army.

After his rescue, the guy again returned to Afghanistan in 2022 and gave several interviews while living there.

In 2023, he again visited Afghanistan for the third time but got apprehended by the Taliban's General Directorate of Intelligence along with some other British citizens. He was detained for several months, however, he described his detention as a holiday because he apparently got pizza and Xbox

The frontlines of Ukraine, transversing the whole of South Sudan, becoming the first tourist to survive to Snake Island, Brazil, shooting with the Tali-bros and the frontlines of Ukraine....I'm only just getting started!"
