Four Killed In A Blast In Sopore Area Of Baramulla In Jammu And Kashmir

The blast occurred inside the shop of a scrap dealer at Sher Colony in Sopore town when some people were unloading scrap from a truck.

Four persons have been killed in a blast in Sopore area of Baramulla district in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said. 
 
The blast occurred inside the shop of a scrap dealer at Sher Colony in Sopore town when some people were unloading scrap from a truck.
 
While two persons died on the spot, two others succumbed to injuries later, officials said. The deceased, all residents of Sher Colony, have been identified as Nazir Ahmad Nadroo (40), Aazim Ashraf Mir (20), Aadil Rashid Bhat (23) and Mohammad Azhar (25).
 
The exact nature and cause of the explosion was not immediately known. A team of forensic experts has been rushed to the site.
 
Speaking over the incident, SSP Sopore, Divya D, said, "This incident (mysterious explosion) took place in Shair Colony Sopore. The deceased have been identified as Nazir Ahmad Nadroo, Azam Ashraf Mir, Mohammad Azhar and Adil Rashid Bhat... All were scrap dealers."
"Today they brought some scrap from Ladhak, and while they were unloading that, the incident took place... FIR has been lodged and an investigation has been taken up... Soon FSL team will arrive here... Medical-legal formalities of the bodies are going on in the hospital," she added.
