Pune Car Crash: 2 Doctors Held For 'Manipulating Evidence' As Teen Driver's Blood Sample 'Found In Hospital Dustbin'
Porsche Crash Case: Pune Police have now arrested two doctors of Sassoon General Hospital for 'manipulating evidence' after the teen driver's blood sample was recovered from hospital's dustbin.
Pune Porche Crash Case: After the arrest of the accused teen's father and grandfather, the police have now arrested two doctors of Sassoon General Hospital in Pune over manipulation of blood sample, Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar told news agency ANI.

The recent development comes just two days after Surendra Agarwal, accused teen's grandfather was apprehended following a police complaint by the family's driver.
Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar stated that on May 19, the blood sample that was taken at the hospital was thrown in a dustbin. Following this the sample of another person was taken and sent to the forensice lab.
"CMO Srihari Halnor replaced this blood sample. During the investigation, we found Srihari Halnor replaced this on the instructions of the HOD Forensic Medicine Department of Sassoon, Ajay Tawre," Kumar said.

The Pune Police Commissioner also stated that the juvenile's father had called Dr Taware, asking him to replace the blood samples, PTI reported.
The probe to determine whose blood samples were collected and replaced with the juvenile's samples is currently underway.
Juvenile's Grandfather & Father Arrested
The accused teen's grandfather, Surendra Agarwal has been charged with kidnapping, based on the driver's complaint. He was arrested for "wrongful confinement" under Sections 365 and 366 of the Indian Penal Code.
Previously, accused's father, Vishal Agarwal, was also sent to a 14-day judicial custody.
As per media reports, it is being believed that the accused's grandfather had alleged links with the underworld and took Chota Rajan's assistance a few years ago, to tackle a property dispute that he had with his brother.
Amitesh Kumar, on Friday, stated that the accused's family made an attempt to establish that the the 17-year-old was not driving the sports car, trying to put the blame on their family driver.
The teen, in an inebriated state had knocked down two IT professionals, Anish and Ashwini, who were killed on the spot.
The police commissioner added that the driver even tried to take the responsibility for the act.
However, Kumar said that the police had sufficient evidence including the CCTV footage where the teen can be seen drinking in a pub.
