New Delhi: Massive fire breaks out in a factory located in Mundegaon village of Igatpuri tehsil in Nashik district, news agency ANI reported.
This comes as two people were killed in a fire on Sunday that broke out at an Old Age nursing home in south Delhi’s Greater Kailash area.
According to NDTV's report, officials informed that the fire broke out at the factory in Nashik's Mundegaon village at 11 am after a huge boiler explosion.
Several fire engines rushed to the spot to douse the flames.

In Delhi, five fire tenders and a few ambulances were rushed to the spot, and the fire was brought under control by 6.50 am, the fire department said, as per PTI. According to police, which helped in the firefighting operation, the fire had occurred on the third floor of the building. After the fire was doused, two completely burnt bodies were found on the third floor, a senior police officer informed.
More details pertaining to the fire at the Nashik factory are awaited. So far, no casualties have been reported.
In the last month of 2022, multiple incidents of fires were reported. In December, a fire broke out in an air filter firm near Bhima Koregaon area of Shirur town in Pune. A blaze was reported near Parekh Hospital in Mumbai's Ghatkopar.
A fire broke out in a 61-storey building in central Mumbai in December. In October 2021, a major fire had broken out on the 19th floor of the same residential complex in which a 30-year-old security guard died while saving others.
