Kerala: Day After SDPI Worker's Death, RSS Worker Hacked To Death In Palakkad

The witness of the incident said that Sreenivasan was hacked over 20 times with sharp objects.

Chennai: A Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) worker was hacked to death by miscreants in Palakkad on Saturday. The worker was identified as Sreenivasan.

On Saturday, Sreenivasan was hacked to death at a shop by five miscreants who arrived at the spot in three bikes, said a report on Manorama.

The witness of the incident said that Sreenivasan was hacked over 20 times with sharp objects.

The murder of the RSS worker comes a day after a Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) worker was hacked to death. The deceased Subair was also the secretary of Popular Front and the murder took place on Friday.

On April 15, while Subair was coming out of the mosque around 1.30 am, five people in a car hit his vehicle. They then got down from the car and hacked him to death.

After his death, SDPI was alleging that RSS leaders were behind the attack. However, BJP Palakkad district president KM Haridas denied the allegation and said that RSS workers were not involved in any murders.

Similarly, two political murders were reported in Kerala in November 2021. Last year, a RSS worker Sanjith was first murdered by miscreants and within the same week in what appeared like a political murder, another SDPI worker Subair was murdered. The police then registered a case and are investigating.
