As Karnataka Votes, PM Modi Set To Hold Roadshow, Address Rally In Rajasthan Today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Rajasthan’s Sirohi on Wednesday where he will hold a roadshow, address a rally and will inaugurate several projects.

As Karnataka votes to elect the 224-member assembly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Rajasthan’s Sirohi on Wednesday. As per Rajasthan BJP chief CP Joshi, Modi will hold a public rally on Abu Road in Sirohi, reported news agency PTI. He will begin his visit by first offering prayers at Shrinathji Temple. The Prime Minister will dedicate and lay the foundation stone of infrastructure projects worth over Rs 5,500 crores during his visit.

Multiple road and rail sector projects to boost connectivity will also be launched. The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for the redevelopment of Udaipur railway station. PM Modi will visit the Shantivan complex of the Brahma Kumaris on Abu Road and lay the foundation stone for Super Speciality Charitable Global Hospital. This will be the third rally of Prime Minister Modi in Rajasthan, where assembly polls are due later this year.

In January, Modi addressed a public programme in Bhilwara to mark the birth anniversary of Lord Devnarayan revered by Gurjar community, while in February, he addressed a public meeting in Dausa after dedicating Delhi–Dausa–Lalsot section of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.

As polling takes place on Karnataka after a high-octane campaign, the focus has now shifted from south to north.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi visited Sirohi on Tuesday where he attended a training camp of the party at Mount Abu.

Meanwhile, hile speaking at a programme in Dholpur, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot put the ball in Vasundhara Raje’s court saying it was because of the latter that the rebellion against him could not succeed.

Rejecting Gehlot’s claim, Raje told ABP News that Gehlot was scared of losing and so is speaking a lie. Terming it a “conspiracy” Raje said, “No one can insult me as much as Gehlot did. He is making up fabricated stories.”
