Lionel Messi was seen consoling a heart-broken Neymar after the final whistle blew. The video of the emotional moment between the duo went viral on social media.

Superstar Lionel Messi's years-long dream of making Argentina champion in an international tournament came true on Sunday. Argentina won the Copa America title by defeating Brazil 1-0 in the final. For the first time ever in his career, Messi, hailed as an all-time great, won a major international tournament with Argentina. 

Argentina has won the Copa America trophy for the first time since 1993. Messi was the highest goalscorer in the tournament and was also voted the best player of the tournament.

Post capturing a long-awaited Copa America tournament win, the Argentine players celebrated the historic victory with great  joy as they ran towards the long-time Barcelona star when the final whistle blew.

Just then, Neymar was spotted walking towards Argentine camp, looking for his former Barcelona teammate Messi and the moment when they met, the legendary duo embraced each other and Messi was seen consoling a heart-broken Neymar. The video of the emotional moment went viral on social media.

Post Argentina winning the title, Messi is getting congratulatory messages from all over the world. This victory is very special for Messi and the Argentine team.

Angel Di Maria scored the only goal for Argentina in the 22nd minute of the first-half. Maria brilliantly tackled the Brazilian defense as he converted a pass from the midfielder into a stunning goal.  Even after this, both the teams got many chances to score goals, but no one could capitalize on the opportunities.

After the final whistle went, Lionel Messi's joyful teammates threw him into the air as the football legend was seen getting teary eyed post his team's historic win.
